Hi Just got mine checked out as the DPF was flashing and its a stretched chain (10.7 degrees out so only .35 over the tolerance). I have also previously had the sump pickup unblocked and had to change the oil at 8500 miles as it had filled with diesel.

f7fd4f8. My partner's parents have 2 of the 2.2 diesel's, a 2014 Mazda 3 and a 2019 Mazda 6. The 6 has had one issue which is when the DPF does a regen it seems to leak diesel by the piston rings into the sump. I have a 2019 GT-Reserve with the 2.5 turbo engine. I only have about 12,500 miles on it to date and it was purchased new. It consumed just a little oil in the first 5000 miles, maybe 3/4 of a quart. Since then the oil consumption has been negligible, I expect it to be less than a half quart by the time I reach 15,000 miles.
